Elon Musk will no longer provide free internet in Ukraine
Elon Musk's company SpaceX
will no longer provide free internet services in Ukraine. His company has to
spend 20 million dollars per month to provide this service in Ukraine. SpaceX
has made a total of $80 million there so far. But now it is not possible to run
this service for free, he said.
According to a report, SpaceX
sent a letter to the Pentagon last month, saying it could not continue Starlink
service to Ukraine indefinitely. The US military may have to stop serving in
Ukraine unless it receives millions of dollars a month in aid.
Civilians and Ukrainian
military have benefited from using Elon Musk's Internet. Using this service,
they have achieved various successes against the Russian army.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr
Zelensky's adviser, Mykhailo Podlaek, said they could find a way to solve the
problem. But until a way out, let SpaceX continue their service.
