He set the Guinness Book of World Records in the men's category.

 

According to the information, the young man named Vitomir Maričić did this adventurous work in the swimming pool of Thalassotherapia Opatija on September 17 last year. Vitomir Maričić took 3 minutes and 6 seconds to make the record.

 

Vitomir Maričić is a professional freediver. He started Freediving four years ago. Earlier, he was associated with other sports.


The record was set by another Croatian in 2020. Freediver  Boris Milosic walked 96 meters (314 feet 11.5 inches).
