New features for WhatsApp group calls
Many people use WhatsApp's
group call facility to talk to their friends or colleagues in regular audio or
video calls. But while engaging in group calls, some people eat without turning
off the microphone and make various noises with their mouths. The other members
involved in the group call cannot hear the speaker well. To solve the problem,
WhatsApp has introduced the facility to mute the microphone by certain members
remotely in group calls. This facility will be available during video calls
with maximum 6 people and audio calls with 32 people.
In addition to these new features, the Meter-owned instant messaging service has also introduced the ability to send messages to specific individuals while group calls are on. As a result, when meeting with colleagues, there will be an opportunity to exchange various information or files with each other. WhatsApp will also alert others if a person joins after the group call has started.
Security has also been
increased on WhatsApp. As a result, from now on, users will be able to hide
their profile picture from others if they want. Not only photos, but also
personal information and latest login information on WhatsApp can be hidden.
WhatsApp messages, photos,
videos and audio messages from Android smartphones to iPhones have recently
been launched. With the new 'End-to-End Encryption' feature, messages, photos,
videos and audio messages can be securely transferred to the iPhone.
