Gmail's mobile notifications
can be turned off
Google is bringing every one
of the new highlights for Gmail. As per a Google report, clients can now switch
off portable warnings while utilizing Gmail on their PCs. News Gadgets Now.
The facility was launched in
February this year for some initial limited users. Currently, many more users
are able to use the facility. However, the whole thing is still in the
experimental stage, and it is known that the feature is only seen in the
workplace accounts.
When the feature is made
available globally, users will see the Gmail Notification Pause dialog. In that
pop up, users will be able to turn off mobile notifications while running Gmail
on their laptop or computer. When users turn off Gmail notifications on mobile,
Gmail will be asked to monitor device usage. If this feature is turned on,
users will only be able to see new mail notifications on the desktop.
